Utah Concealed Weapons Permit Course

The State of Utah will issue Concealed Weapons permits to non-residents who meet their requirements. Utah mandates that applicants attend a training course from a Utah Certified Instructor, and Fortress now offers this course.

Student skill level: none

Equipment required: Protective eyewear, serviceable pistol or revolve in proper transport case, holster, pen/pencil, notepad.

Ammunition requirements: NONE (Do NOT bring live ammunition into the classroom!)

Duration: 5 to 6 hours

Utah requires that you first secure a carry permit from your home state, if your home state offers one. If your state (Illinois, Wisconsin) has no carry permit, Utah will still issue you one.

Utah will also require:

- a passport sized photo

- Finger prints (Fortress will provide the Utah fingerprint cards), it will be up to you to get your prints done. Most local police departments will provide that service, some charge a small fee.)
